On February 25th (Monday), the Portsmouth Town Council will be discussing gun control and a gun buyback program. Show up to support our second amendment. Word is that Rep. Linda Finn’s gun registration bill will be a topic of discussion. As far as I know, this is the first public discussion of the bill. If we can mobilize a large crowd to oppose this outrageous bill right now, perhaps we can put it to bed early.
Share this with your friends on Facebook and Twitter! This is an ‘all hands on deck’ situation.
The meeting is at 7:00pm at the Portsmouth Town Hall, located at 2200 East Main Road, Portsmouth RI, 02871. Try to show up a little early if you can so you can get seating. Expect Million Moms Against Guns and other anti-gunners to show up too. Remember, even though these folks disagree with us, treat them with kindness. These are emotional issues for us all, but the media would love nothing more than to label us radicals. We’re not radicals, we’re just fighting for our rights. Just like Americans have done for over 237 years.
